Ann Liguori, a nationally known sports radio and television personality, talk show host, journalist, author, and television producer in the world of sports media was the first woman to host a call-in sports show on WFAN-New York. Ann hosted a sports talk show for over 20 years and continues as the station's golf and tennis correspondent covering events including The Masters, U.S. Open (golf), PGA Championships, U.S. Open (tennis) and special competitions such as the Ryder Cup and both the summer and winter Olympics.
Ann shared her experiences about when she first got her foot in the door interning and
working in the industry gaining as much experience as she could, how she was able
to network and meet many professionals in the business, and how she learned
about the business of sports while working in the sport industry.
Ann answered questions from the students in the audience and offered advice to
all of them about what they could do to help themselves in the future.
